A little piece of normailty.

It was our first weekend for a long, long time that we didn't go looking at display homes, didn't look at interior colours & concepts, bricks, flooring etc. We didn't even go down to stare at our bit of dirt.....

It was nice to spend the weekend playing with our children and being "normal". Sometimes we tend to forget what is most important in the world. Sounds soppy i know, but it is nice to stop worrying about the building process every now and then. It brings a sense of normality to our usually busy lives.

Until next time.....

Wasn't the weather just perfect for spending time as a family this weekend ?

Looking forward to following your blog, may your building experience be stress free, well, as stress free as building can be :)

Thanks for that Rel, it's just nice to take time out every now and then. Kids get bored of doing house stuff all the time. Hey, welcome back any time....

As much as my kids love "looking at houses it is nice to take them away and let them be kids occasionally :)

I loaded up the car friday at lunchtime and went to a little cottage up in Yering in Victoria and let the kids do whatever they wanted. We gave them a list and said you guys choose and away we went .... they had a ball Healesville Sanctuary etc.

We could all take some time and the world would be a better (more relaxed) place.

When/if things slow down maybe we might consider doing the same.
